[Cal Dems] Meeting Tomorrow, 7 pm, 56 Barrows (&) Convention Sign-ups!

Hi everyone!

Last night was the twentieth Democratic debate featuring Clinton and
Obama this presidential primary season, which got us thinking about
debating. So at the meeting *Thursday at 7 pm in 56 Barrows*, we'll be
having a fun debate workshop with the help of our friends with the Informal
Debate Society. We'll be learning tips and strategies on how to debate
hot-button issues, and even mock-debating ourselves in the last part of the
meeting. Now, when a fanatic approaches you at the table on Sproul and wants
to debate whether global warming is a hoax (seriously!?), you'll be able to
bust out your hard-core debating skills and karate-chop him into rhetoric
history -- hi-ya! (Okay, that was a bit much.)

We'll also be taking initial sign-ups for everyone interested in coming with
Cal Dems to San Jose for the California Democratic Party State Convention on
March 28-30. Hope to see you all tomorrow night!
