[Cal Dems] Meeting Tomorrow at 7 pm + Registering for Tahoe!

Hey Dems!

If this week's been for you anything like it's been for me, I know you need
a break from the midterm/paper/problem set madness. So zip up your fatigues,
break out that eyeblack, and join us at tomorrow's meeting for CAMPAIGN BOOT
CAMP!

Where? 56 Barrows (as always)
When? Thursday, Sept. 27th, 7 pm
What? How to Canvass, How to Phone Bank, and What it's Like to Work for a
Candidate or on a Campaign!

Get ready to learn everything you ever wanted to know about campaign work!
We'll even have some of our fellow members talk about their experiences
working for elected officials, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator
Hillary Clinton. You won't want to miss this one!

P.S. **VERY IMPORTANT**
There's been some confusion about how to sign up to come with Cal Dems to
the California Young Democrats retreat in Tahoe this November. Here's what
you need to know:
- Complete information about the trip can be found online at
www.youngdems.org/Tahoe2007.html
- Once you decide you'd like to come, register and pay ($45 per person)
online at www.youngdems.org.
- After you've registered online, email me at sarah at caldems.com so I'll have
an accurate headcount of how many of us are going.
- Your lodging is already paid for by the club!
- Transportation will be arranged as we get closer to the date.
- If you'd like to pay a reduced fee of $20 in exchange for a few hours of
volunteer work at the retreat, email tahoe at youngdems.org BEFORE you register
online!!
