PROGRESSIVE OPPORTUNITIES:

-Check out the new Carpool application on Facebook!
http://apps.facebook.com/carpool/

Share rides with friends and people you trust using the new Carpool
application on Facebook. Carpool will connect you with other people
going to the same place, and it's safer because you can view other
people's profiles before deciding who to travel with. Everyone saves
money and you might meet someone interesting in the process! All of
the greenhouse gas savings are tracked, so we can measure the total
reductions made by each campus, and you can even link Carpool to your
Facebook events. This type of program gets better the more people who
use it, so sign up, post your next trip, and invite friends using
Carpool's handy invite tool!

Also, Carpool is looking for a few campus reps to help with publicity
at Cal, so if you're interested or know of anyone who might be, please
get in touch with Cal grad student Sam Arons at <
sarons at berkeley.edu>.
