[Cal Dems] Meeting TOMORROW, 7 pm + DEBATE VIEWING PARTY CANCELLED!

Hiya Dems!

So I have some good new, and I have some bad news. Let's start with the bad:
the YouTube Republican Debate viewing party at Molly and my apartment
tonight has been cancelled. You can blame CNN's arcane scheduling system for
this one: the debate is on at 8 pm... Eastern Standard Time, which means 5
pm Pacific Standard Time, which means many of us (including me!) will still
be in class. I was really looking forward to some good comic relief during
these last two weeks of the semester, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Now, on to the GOOD new! Tomorrow's meeting, our second-to-last of the
semester, is the one all you wanna-be celebrities have been waiting for.
Remember the documentary film crew that suffered an unfortunate STABBING
incident in San Francisco a few weeks back and thus had to reschedule
filming our meeting? Well, tonight's the night! While we're making holiday
cards to send to the troops serving overseas as part of our Treats for the
Troops program, the crew will be filming us hard at work. It's no big
deal—just a chance for us to show what we do on a day-to-day basis as Cal
Dems—but I just wanted to give you a heads up. You'll be asked to sign a
waiver as you sign in at the meeting, too.
