Hey everyone!

Hope you've all recovered from Tahoe and made it through this week
intact! In accordance with next Tuesday's Transgender Day of
Remembrance, at our meeting today we'll be talking about the federal
Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) that's currently being voted
on and discussed in Washington. In addition, we'll be taking sign-ups
to do a few last big voter registration pushes before the end of the
semester; since the deadline to register to vote is the day BEFORE we
come back to campus for spring semester, we've only got a few more
weeks to register as many students as possible!

As the subject line implies, one final cool thing about this meeting
is that a documentary film crew will be filming us today. It's no big
deal—just a chance for us to show what we do on a day-to-day basis as
Cal Dems—but I just wanted to give you the heads up. You'll be asked
to sign a waiver as you sign in at the meeting, too.

Have an excellent Thursday and I'll see you at the meeting!
Sarah Gold, President

P.S. For anyone who's interested, the Hillary Clinton Campaign will be
having an info/training session in 56 Barrows immediately following
the Cal Dems meeting tonight. Come with your questions, comments, and
an open-mind to learn how YOU can get involved in the campaign. Intern
and volunteer opportunities will be offered!
(There may even be food!)
