Good morning Cal Dems!  This is your wake-up call... the time is currently
[muffled mumbling]!

Apologies for the extensive e-mailing this week, but I think you'll want
to read this one.  TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR CONVENTION!!!  You

Tonight's meeting, THURSDAY AT 7 P.M. IN 170 BARROWS, will be chock-full
of Convention details, so you don't want to miss it.  We'll also be
wrapping up our endorsement process that we began last week, so we need to
get quorum (hi there newbies, quorum is a big fancy Robert's Rules word
for "we need enough people to actually vote").  In other words, please
show up!  I'll be ever so lonely if you don't.
