>> "An Inconvenient Truth" and Climate Change Fair
Friday, November 3, 6pm-11:30pm, Wheeler Auditorium

Learn everything you need to know about global warming in interactive
booths presented by 18 various on-campus groups (including Cal Dems!)
and off-campus environmental organizations. Though we face a planetary
emergency, by acting soon we can avert a global climate catastrophe.
Help change the world by empowering yourself with knowledge.

Film showings at 7pm and 9:15pm--tickets are $3 with UCB ID, $5
general admission.

The Graduate Assembly will host a debate on Proposition 89, which
would provide public financing for political campaigns. "Yes on 89"
spokesperson Jan S. Rodolfo is a practicing oncology nurse at the Alta
Bates Summit Medical Center and serves on the California Nurses
Association Board of Directors. "No on 89" spokesperson Sandy Harrison
is a Sacramento-based freelance writer and media/campaign consultant.
