Get Covered CA

Blog, News Anais || No Comments

As of September 23rd, young adults will be able to stay on their parents’ insurance plan until they turn 26. It’s one of the most important parts of America’s new health care law and in California it can benefit 196,000 uninsured young adults! For the first time in American history, an entire generation will be able to focus on obtaining a higher education and enjoy life without having to worry about getting denied access to health care.

But a lot of young people don’t even know about the new law or how they can get covered. That’s why The California Endowment launched the “Get Covered California” campaign to ensure that every young adult in California learns about the new health law as soon as possible, gets covered immediately, and spreads the word to their friends and family.

Dems, help spread the word right now. It only takes a couple of minutes.

First, check out GetCoveredCA.org and Join the Campaign.

Nextsend an email to your friends, family and networks to tell them about the Get Covered California Campaign and ask them to spread the word. You can use the text of this email to get you started.
