That&#039;s interesting, I feel almost neglectful for not having thought of filibusters in an undemocratic light before.  Probably because we&#039;re so conditioned to accept &quot;checks&quot; on power within government.  Hopefully the renewed notion that democracy is about the people putting &quot;checks&quot; on our government will continue to motivate people to act.  Thanks for bringing this up, makes ya think.</description>
